Servo Mount 3C for Model Railroads
thingiverse
I made a small change by raising the slot for the cable by 2.5mm. I found that the original slot did not line up with the cable. It probably depends on the particular servo I’m using. Once I made the change everything lined up perfectly. I really like that there are no screws needed to hold the servo in place. The fit is nice and snug. The second change I made was to put a radius on the corners of the top plate (the one with the hole the wire goes through in it). I did this because I had slight warping when I printed the original, and I have read that having round corners rather than sharp angles can improve warping issues. A second print with the modified corners seems to have no warping. Note that neither of these “problems” were the fault of the original design, just a matter of the servo I use and some issues I have with my printer.
