Servo Horns For the Towel RC Plane

Servo Horns For the Towel RC Plane

This servo horn is an optional yet desirable addition for your RC towels aircraft. To build your plane, obtain the plans from Brooklyn Aerodrome or Make Magazine's website. Mount these servo horns on the elevons using double-sided tape and zip ties; consider utilizing the forwardmost hole to adjust elevon position when controls are centered. Due to lack of shaped airfoils for wings, fly at a slightly higher angle of attack for level flight. I printed my servo horns on an Ultimaker with normal settings in Cura, using a 70°C heated bed. We successfully built four towels with these servo horns today. Despite not being affiliated with Brooklyn Aerodrome, I appreciate their efforts and enjoyed conversing with them at last year's Maker Faire.
