Servo Delta Robot
thingiverse
I found the Delta Robot to be incredibly fascinating in its mechanics and potential applications. I decided it would be an exciting challenge to build one using readily available parts and 3D printed components. Unlike most Delta 3D printers, this robot employs a hinge-based method, which provides greater flexibility than traditional ball joints. This robot utilizes three hobby servos with arms and rods to enable movement in the XYZ axes. https://tinkersprojects.com/project/servo-delta-robot/ https://youtu.be/sGBrFT5dmzU
Controller:
The controller is a servo shield mounted on an Arduino UNO, paired with specific libraries to manage the robot's movement. The Kinematics library for Delta robots and GCode library are essential for precise positioning control. Additional libraries are used, but these two play a crucial role in the robot's functionality.
