servo conveyor belt
thingiverse
This is my first 3D model so be kind! I have never made anything else and I'm still testing this. a 9g servo motor fits into one of the brackets. 7x3x3 bearings fit into the roller things. and Im using some weird belt i got from amazon i had laying around my house, it is for keeping couches together. the idea is that you modify a servo for continuous rotation and put it into the housing. Then you can power the servo and it should spin the conveyor belt pretty easily. Servos have a lot of torque and modifying the servo for continuous rotation allow you to get alot of torque with a small motor and a small amount of power. next steps are to get these mountable in some way and also make it more adjustable. Id probably use an ardunio with a number pad to control a bunch of these to make a vending machine type deal.
