I recently upgraded my 3D printer with the bed leveling function, and after just four prints, I noticed that the probe wasn't functioning correctly due to excessive heat from the bed and nozzle. This eventually led to its breakdown. Now, I'm experimenting with a servo/mechanical system as an alternative to the traditional mechanical endstop, trying to combine both systems for better results. My initial prototype is promising, but convincing the firmware to work seamlessly with this new setup might take some time.
