server hard drive tray
thingiverse
I have a server blade that I use for my PC, but I don't know what brand it is and I'm missing the HDD bays. So, I designed a simple one that's specifically made for 3.5-inch hard drives. The hard drives mount from the bottom and are slotted so they can be adjusted to fit perfectly. I hope this design will help others fix their hard drive bay issues. The sides that slide into the grooves are about 18.2 mm wide. The overall width of the bay is approximately 107 mm, and the overall length is just over 155 mm. These measurements should give you a good idea of whether or not this design will fit your needs, so you don't waste plastic printing it only to find out it doesn't work. Print Settings: Printer: Qidi Tech Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.30 Infill: 5-10% Notes: I used a 5% infill setting for a total of 1 hour and 58 minutes on my printer, and it turned out great. You don't need any higher infill percentage than 10%.
