Server Cabinet Filament Guide
thingiverse
I have installed my 3D Printer inside a Server Cabinet. This Filament Guide fits perfectly onto the holes for the Racks inside the Server Cabinet. I also included a Blank version so you can modify or change it to suit your specific needs. Note: The holes for the Racks inside the Server Cabinet are spaced at varying distances, with some narrower and others wider apart. The clip shown here is specifically designed for use in the wider space holes for the Racks. When fitted, it stands at 40mm, just shy of 1RU in height. I "weld" the two parts together - the Clip and Guide - using a small amount of Acetone on my ABS material. I plan to improve this method for future prints. Moving the Filament Runout Sensor box and Bowden tube onto this Rack holder is an excellent idea. The printed parts work well with some light filing, although I've had issues with my Hot End, resulting in less-than-perfect prints as seen in pictures/video.
