Serv-Arm improved
thingiverse
This is an improvement of: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1684471 I created a new base for the robot arm that attaches directly to an Arduino Nano on a Shield. You can easily attach the servo motors onto the shield, as it features all the necessary power and ground pins right at every signal pin. This simplifies wiring significantly. Additionally, more weight is distributed across the ground plate, making the robot arm even more stable while in motion. I also added two knobs for play and pause that perfectly fit my micro switches. Meanwhile, I opted for smaller 6mm trimmer potentiometers, which necessitated the creation of some adapters - those are included as well. To ensure optimal results, print multiple adapters at once to allow the small axles time to cool down before adding the next layer. This prevents bending during printing. There is also a split version that can be printed 90° rotated, potentially offering another viable solution. Lastly, I designed printable round servo wheels to replace the missing parts from my servos.
