I designed an upgraded tightening system for my MKv1 extruder, swapping it with the old PEEK J-head MKIV-MKV hotend extruder on my trusty Rappy 3D printer after the original melted under the first ABS pass. To enhance airflow, I added two ventilation channels to cool deposited plastic without installing additional fans. On the left side, I routed cables for the heating element and thermal probe through a dedicated channel to keep them secure and prevent movement.
