thingiverse
Sermoon d1 - filament guide with two degrees of freedom. Replacing the splined wheels with this simple ball-type filament guide, featuring a capricorn tube segment, improves the flow of the thread and prevents jamming problems. since the sphere must remain free to rotate inside its support, it is necessary to position the piece to be printed with the part of the chamfered hole in contact with the printing surface (see images). Use the support if necessary (depends on printer and filament). Recommended material: Pla plus or Petg, avoid standard Pla. The filament guide in question has been tested and is currently used in the Sermoon D1 but, with the appropriate modifications, it can be useful in all printers that use a direct extruder. This accessory is useless if a Bowden type extruder is used.
