Sanding paper is expensive and doesn't last long. Sanding belts are affordable and incredibly durable because they need to withstand a lot of torque and speed. These belts can last a very long time due to their strong fabric backing. This makes them an ideal accessory for sanding blocks. I wanted a simple sanding block that was perfectly stiff and strong, not too long to consume a lot of filament during printing. Two interlocking parts make up this tool, which works quite well. However, you can easily scale it to fit other belt sizes by doing the math.
