Serious Paint Cones you can secure in place

Paint cones are an absolute necessity when it comes to painting or finishing any surface. They hold your project in place while allowing you to create without damaging it with drips and spills. Serious paint cones offer everything you need to get the job done right: Their tetrahedron shape ensures maximum stability, scalable for any size of part. Secure them in place with 3 screws (4mm), so they won't budge even when moving heavy parts around. These reliable paint cones have seen extensive use. I've printed out 12 in total using PLA and still have some brand new ones stored away for later projects. With heavy furniture, solvent paints and various varnishes used regularly, these cones withstand any pressure. They truly can be a lifetime tool. Printer Details: Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: None used Supports: Not needed When printing your serious paint cone make sure to set it up with 100% infill as that's not necessary at all since cones don't need that much material in the first place. Securing Paint Cones: Unlike other flimsy cones you can buy or print cheaply from places overseas. Secure serious ones to any surface they will stay right where they should: In their spot! Post-Printing Considerations: Store these secure paint cones properly to ensure they're available for future use. With serious paint cones there's no need to ever be concerned about one of them slipping or falling because three countersink screws (4mm) hold them securely. Designing Serious Paint Cones: These solid pieces started when I couldn't find quality paint cones anywhere in town as a kid so, we just improvised using everyday items found around the workshop: old metal pieces. The goal back then was simple to find sturdy yet convenient options that would keep your projects from getting marred while wet. One bad accident where an extremely valuable finish ended up destroyed after the chinese cheap one just snapped under the weight of it - no amount of sanding or fixing helped repair any damages on wood and the rest got lost in minutes - That single time cost too much! You see these days paint cones aren't really about keeping your budget but having everything ready all the time. So you work as smooth without interruptions to give perfect results. In terms of performance, nothing can be achieved through trial by errors since when failure hits, everything is at stake: both valuable item plus time. Therefore first, came designing the base, so I found a triangle was too short - it won't hold any load so instead i opted for a Tetrahedron because, when talking about keeping stability while using less material we have best bet: Tetrahedrons give best results against footprint. Then comes designing what I like to call "Strength" in walls – I wanted my design strong, nothing cheap or flimsy but a cone that is going through multiple coats & can withstand various weights plus the extra security from star shaped which doesn’t let spray fly into places causing additional issues so printing three of them with PLA on a Prusa printer should make no worries while it holds things stable until done finishing job. Next, I made it so even with solvent based paints cones stay in one spot since time goes by and adhesives can get damaged or lost: You'll have more peace knowing when handling wet work & spray guns the bottom remains where placed. So far these Serious paint Cones provide solutions from beginning to end while painting and will hold anything until job completion. Scaling: In everyday tasks working in custom section helps as scaling gives a wider flexibility because what holds your needs best for projects with life-size art furniture I noticed when printing small cones they get damaged by extra force on it hence, to create stability & keep heavy things secure I have 30mm that makes one part. Still, depending on specific task sizes go ahead scale your cones as large or smaller based in what suits better your project so you enjoy best possible job at the end result
