Land Rover's Series I production began in 1948 and was showcased at the Amsterdam Motor Show. Initially, it was designed for farm and light industrial use, featuring a steel box-section chassis and an aluminum body. It was based on the original 1959 Moko Lesney Matchbox toy, with 86-inch and 107-inch wheelbase options available. The short-wheelbase version had two variants - one with a driver and another without. The Series I SWB has been updated with a double-sized version, featuring upgraded Non-Directional-Tread (NDT) on the tires and altered dimensions for a generic 86-inch wheelbase. Some additional embellishments were added to the model but required fixing using the Netfabb cloud fixing tool. The model requires some assembly, with 3 mm filament used as axles and super glue for attaching spare tires. Different windscreen placements are possible, and a hardtop may be modeled in the future. Printing is recommended at 50% infill for the small version and 25% for the large version. NDT tyres have been updated to fix symmetry issues, with thanks given to Thingiversian jeromemaurey for corrections.
