This case is engineered for precise laser cutting from 3mm and 5mm acrylic sheets. It seamlessly forms a four-bay enclosure for Lenovo serial Ultrabay enhanced drives with a height of 12.7mm. Both serial Ultrabay slim and Ultrabay Slim can fit within the design, but leave small gaps above them due to very tight tolerances. However, this issue does not compromise the integrity of the design since it has been successfully executed in practice, albeit sensitive to disturbances caused by protective plastic coverings affecting slot sizes. Using 1/8 inch thick acrylic is not feasible with this particular design due to its specific requirements. Three DXF files are provided for fabrication purposes: Layer 0 (black) represents a through sheet profile cut; Layer 1 (red) displays the connector and slot cutouts; Layer 2 (yellow) shows the text details. For effective execution, it is recommended that two of these files be cut from 3mm material for convenient handling in assembly. The remaining file should be fabricated from 5mm material to create sturdy support slides, significantly contributing to a stable structure. Upon completion, careful attention should be paid during assembly as some components can become easily misplaced due to their delicateness and intricate slot arrangements.
