I'm currently working on "Dashing Mariachis," a mobile game that features playable mariachi characters with unique lowpoly skin designs. To create these custom skins, I started by using the regular suit model as a base and then added a poncho geo to give them a distinctive look. I repainted the entire character to bring out their personality. To see the original (base) skin for comparison, check out Los Mariachis Locos. For this project, I relied on Blender for modeling and texturing, while Gimp was used for texture dilation and tonal correction to achieve a polished finish.
