I'll create my own seraphon bases from scratch, deleting that other post entirely. Small Slot bases are designed for models with a slotted stand, where most of it's cut off except for one small end. You simply snip away the excess, leaving only a tiny amount under the back foot intact. For my Saurus Warriors, just the back leg is pegged in and the front foot is glued to the base, so most of the base remains unscathed by the slot. Slot bases are essentially slotted through and through.
