Sensorcon CO detector Box
thingiverse
Box stores a Sensorcon Carbon Monoxide detector perfectly, fitting snugly without rattling. The box also has a dedicated spot for a spare battery. The lid features a convenient place to hold the manual. The hinge uses a precision-made piece of 1.75mm filament as its pin. This clever design ensures smooth operation and minimal wear. Designed in fusion360 with precision and care, this box is a testament to innovative engineering. Although this is Rev 1, it was intentionally designed to print without supports, allowing for easy creation. However, the lid does require supports when printed in any orientation, which I plan to address in future revisions. Additionally, I'm exploring redesigning the lid to incorporate Chep's z-hop trick, printing the letters in an alternate color. For now, this print works great at safeguarding an expensive sensor, providing better protection than its original tiny cardboard box.
