Sensor mount for the DX-U649 corexy (ifancybox) printer
thingiverse
This Thing accommodates two sensor mounts for the DX-U649 (ifancybox) corexy printer, a relatively rare device with a small user base. Upon searching Thingiverse, I found no available printer parts for this particular printer, prompting me to create my own components. If another individual requires these parts, they can benefit from my creation. The first sensor mount is designed for the standard inductive sensors, while the second utilizes David Crockers mini differential IR sensor (https://miscsolutions.wordpress.com/mini-height-sensor-board/). Both mounts securely attach to the original x-carriage using the screws provided with the printer, eliminating the need for additional components. A close fit is achieved between both Things and M3 nuts. I used a plier to force the nuts into place, but a soldering iron would be more suitable. The inductive sensor is positioned 60mm ahead of the sensor, while the IR sensor is situated 40mm in front of the sensor. Users should adjust their firmware accordingly, for instance, by setting #define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER to 60 in Marlin. Printer Settings: * Printer: DX-U649 (ifancybox) * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 40%
