My version of a 1.75mm filament sensor: you will need 2 M2.5 screws, each 4mm long. Print the parts and a piece of PTFE, 4mm in diameter by 50mm long. You'll also need a modified mechanical endstop as shown in the photos. Make a notch when the PTFE is in place, just like in the photo. I chose to use PTFE for better gliding and to guide the filament introduction. Simply screw on the endstop and clip on the cap. No supports are needed because it depends where you decide to put it. For the connection to Raspberry Pi, see the GPIO image. Install Filament Sensor Reloaded (1.0.1) plugin in Octoprint and configure as shown in the attached image; feel free to add G-code as desired.
