my version of a 1.75mm filament sensor. you will need 2 M2.5 screws per 4mm length print the parts and a piece of PTFE of 4mm diameter by 50mm long and mechanical endstop modified as shown in the pictures. it will be necessary to make a notch when the PTFE is in place as shown in the picture. I chose to use PTFE to improve the sliding and also to guide the introduction of the filament. just screw on the endstop and clip on the cover. I didn't make a support because it all depends on where you decide to put it. for the connection to the raspberry see the gpio picture install in Octoprint the Filament Sensor Reloaded plugin (1.0.1) and configure it as shown in the attached image, you are free to add gcode to it.
