The core functionality involves a center shaft boasting helical grooves. The float's tabs, fitted within its central hole, facilitate shaft rotation and consequently drive the Smart Sensor upon movement. Employing injection molding for the housing, machining or molding for shafts, and stamping for the bottom bracket are potential manufacturing methods. Advantages include a 40-degree limitation inherent in the grooves' design. However, potential issues arise due to the need for free rotation of all rotating components (with possible friction in the Smart Sensor); custom helical shafts may be necessary per tank height. Additionally, the model currently lacks an effective seal between the tank and sensor.
