As many others I've encountered my Sennheiser MM 550 headband snapped in two, so I took the initiative to design a custom replacement using SketchUp. The prototype printed with PLA material turned out perfectly, fitting comfortably. Next, I plan to experiment with an even more robust printing material - perhaps carbon fiber-infused PLA is worth considering? Any suggestions are welcome. I'll be investigating PETG and NYLON as alternative materials for this project.
