These files pertain to the clamp for my HD650 microphone project. The two sides are connected with screws that dig into plastic, making knurled nuts unnecessary. A M3 set screw holds the boom arm in place, which is a flexible shaft from a USB LED light and measures 5mm in diameter. I used a SONY ECM-DS30P stereo condenser mic for this project. To provide more friction on one side of the clamp, I attached a piece of cork sheet sticker. Sugru was utilized for strain relief. This design will also fit HD600, HD598, and HD580 models that utilize the same connectors. Future revisions may result in a prettier version of this clamp.
