UNC Senior Walk monument Location: University of North Carolina Campus, Orange County, North Carolina. Erected Period: Historic (1928). Material Composition: Sandstone. Dimensions Specifications: Height, 18 inches; Width, 14 inches; Thickness, 6 inches. Notable Facts: The university's Class of 1928 proudly constructed this monument along a walkway at the north edge of Coker Arboretum. Unfortunately, it vanished from its original site around 1970 and resurfaced in a neighborhood near Pittsboro, North Carolina, in 2016. It has since been relocated to its rightful place near its original location, thanks to the dedication of Steve Davis' model.
