I opted to create a custom machine for my woodworking hobby; the Small Drum and Disk Sander was a prototype that functioned flawlessly. Future improvements include adding a pressure roller on the drum sander exit side, as well as incorporating a dust collector. The disk/roller operates at approximately 800 RPM, while Rhino 3D v5 software was utilized in its design.
