I used the littleBits CLOUDBIT Starter kit to send a text message to my iPhone when the 3D print is finished on my Davinci 3D printer. The setup was straightforward and simple. Next, I 3D printed a base to secure the board in place. As the platform lowers, it triggers a switch that sends an SMS message to my iPhone, announcing "3D Print Is Done".
