Senco 14.4v to Dewalt 20v battery adapters

These adapters allow you to use 20v Dewalt lithium batteries on 14.4v NiCd Senco tools. I have had these tools kicking around for a while and there have been a few jobs where they could have been really handy but because of the extra weight of lugging around multiple brands of batteries with different chargers, along with their extended charging time, I've reluctantly ended up just leaving them behind, but now with this adapter I can put them in my Dewalt bag and bring them along. The Dewalt batteries are lighter, charge faster and have more power then the original Senco batteries so the Senco tools work even better then when they were new. It seems that not only can the 14.4v tools handle the higher voltage but the Dewalt batteries aren't really 20v either, its a marketing gimmick. They're really 18v like all the others. I have even been using 20v max batteries on a 9v cordless vacuum, with no sign of trouble. But disclaimer:You should confirm this for yourself. There is a compartment inside for a low voltage cutoff. Both adapters use the same base.
