Senate Guard MK II Paladin Blaster

This blaster was carried by the Senate Guard in Star Wars. I am personally making a Senate Guard kit and I wanted to include the blaster. However all the designs I found didn't really live up to my expectations for a prop like this. So I modeled my own and added in some nice features. This blaster uses 5mm and 16mm rods to hold it all together. The holes for these rods extend a long way into the main body and completely through the barrel pieces which gives the model a lot of rigidity and weight. There is also a 3mm rod hole that is on the bottom of the grip that extends upwards to give the grip and trigger area some extra strength and to prevent it from being snapped off. Most of the models can print without supports, but you may want to put some support under the main body (which I print on it's back for easier printing) just to make sure the overhang succeeds in printing. The 2 sights on the rifle have internal structures to make printing them flat on the bed easier and more likely to succeed. The pins for the sights are just used for alignment when gluing them to the main body.
