Semiconductor Chip Tray

Semiconductor Chip Tray

These custom trays are used for safely storing semiconductor devices, but the standard size pockets on the inventory trays didn't fit our chips. To get custom-sized trays, you usually need to order a large quantity of at least 500 or 1000 units, so I decided to print some since we only needed a few. I might end up splitting this model into two parts because it currently needs support structures, which are a hassle to remove afterwards. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Raft: No rafts were used in the print job. Supports: Yes, supports were printed along with the model. Resolution: The printer resolution was set to 0.2mm for this print job. Infill Percentage: 15% infill density was used in the print settings. Notes: The corners of the printed model can get slightly sloppy at a 0.2mm resolution. It's worth considering increasing the resolution to 0.1mm if you have the time and resources available.
