Semi Tire Rim Fire Pit

Our cousin left a rim from a blown tire his semitruck here at the farm. We're planning to turn it into a fire pit in the spring. This is the concept we are going to try to attempt with the rim, Pavers and some scrap iron. The tray underneath to remove ash after the fire is burned out. The tire was pseudo reversed (nearest 1/4 in). It's a old split rim tire from the 1970's which works nicely for this design.
