Semi Ducted Micro Frame (Cheese Frame)

This is a remix of Phredie's great ducted micro frame. I created this after discussing improvements with a friend over at quadcopter.at. He flew my whoop and we started talking about enhancements. So most of the changes I attribute to noctaro. I increased the wall thickness - my printer requires at least 2 1/2 nozzle widths for the layers to adhere together, otherwise they will peel easily. I also removed the "swirl" at the ducts' end and added holes to compensate for the added thickness and allow air to flow better out of the ducts. This frame feels slightly more responsive than Phredie's original. And for me, it definitely doesn't break as quickly. It is undoubtedly louder due to the holes. With the original, the quad always sagged significantly when decreasing throttle. Now I descend much smoother. This design is also customizable; you can adjust the motor diameter, hole sizes, wall widths, heights, and more. Print it with 100% infill. You can print it quickly while still achieving good results. I have slic3r set up to print this frame in about an hour. The attached STL displays the customizer's default settings. Banggood shopping list: F4 Brushed Flight Controller Motors (more powerful ones recommended) 1.25mm connectors Props FPV Cam + Transmitter AIO Batteries 25C Batteries 50C Micro Receiver of your choice, I use this one with my Turnigy Evolution. I highly suggest getting the 50C batteries; they're twice as expensive as the 25C ones but have more punch. Also, get at least 12 batteries so you can charge the first one while using the last. Don't forget to break in your motors.
