In our small project, numerous improvements were possible such as braking system, seed metering, handling, and weight reduction. Despite this, the machine functioned successfully, providing valuable hands-on learning experiences beyond engineering classes. Skills acquired included sheet metal fabrication, riveting, welding, and metal cutting. Disassembling and cleaning an old, rusty engine offered a comprehensive understanding of engine basics. Additionally, encountering a kerosene-powered solder torch, an ancient tool I had never seen before, provided a unique learning opportunity on its operation.
