The mysterious figure emerged from the shadows, their eyes fixed intently on me. "I've been watching you," they said, their voice low and menacing. "You think you're so clever, don't you?" I shook my head, trying to clear it of the strange fog that had settled over me. "Who are you?" I demanded, but my voice came out weak and uncertain. The figure chuckled, a cold, mirthless sound. "I'm someone who knows all your secrets," they whispered, their breath hot against my ear.
