Summary This is an upgraded model that allows for the paper cartridge and booklet to be stored on the base itself. My wife received this wonderful little Canon CP-1500 printer for Christmas, she had difficulty seeing the screen and attending buttons from a sitting position at her desk. The solution was to simply create a stand that held the printer at a more user friendly angle. Three pieces and a few drops of glue made it very basic to assemble. All pieces are printed flat to eliminate support structure. The the short pegs at the top of the sides fit into the two screw holes already located in the bottom of the printer. ( Make sure that the flat sides of the supports face toward the outside) The printer paper feed door is supported by the lower ears on each side. It balances very well actually, but if you are concerned about it moving, a couple of thin pieces of double sided foam tape on the upper sides will bond. I also put four small rubber feet under each corner of the base to prevent sliding.
