This is an invention I designed for assisting with alveolar recruitment in patients at risk or suffering from pneumonia. The concept centers around using this device to breathe through, which facilitates easy inhalation but restricts exhalation. This results in increased pressure at the end of expiration, promoting lung recruitment in atelectatic lungs. Unfortunately, I'm unable to print it due to my printer being in poor condition. To print the design, you'll need to enlarge it to 1000% size. Eight window-like valves must be printed and installed inside holes, allowing for inspiration.
