This 'Selfie-Stik' is entirely created through 3D printing in multiple distinct sections. It's simple to assemble, folds down to a compact size that fits neatly within the palm of your hand but extends out to approximately 37.5cm in length. Utilize it in conjunction with the self-timer function available on nearly all mobile phones (the mechanism for taking a photo is not included)\r\nThis is a practical and cost-effective method of having a compact, lightweight selfie stick readily available when needed... and it functions flawlessly if well printed and assembled. However, to achieve exceptional results, you'll need an accurately set up / precise machine, a slicing app with high accuracy, and to use high infill to make it robust.\r\nOnce you've printed and assembled your Selfie-Stik, insert your phone and tighten the bolt against it with moderate pressure (but not enough to damage the phone). This should securely hold your phone in place... then set your phone's self-timer and start taking selfies.\r\nPlease note that the angles designed into the selfie stick cause it to appear to bend backwards slightly plus the phone mount is also angled backwards. This is necessary to ensure the handle remains out of the image area so it won't be visible in your selfies.\r\nAs a precaution, begin by printing a couple of the smaller parts and pins first and check they fit together well, rotate smoothly, the threads are clean / precise so they screw in as required and can be lightly tightened. Assuming everything is okay, continue to print the remaining parts and complete your assembly.\r\nAt first use, the Selfie-Stik may seem quite flexible and lacking in strength. However, PLA is incredibly strong and resilient, so unless you exert excessive pressure on it, a well-printed Selfie-Stik with high infill applied should perform admirably.\r\nPlease refer to the print settings provided and images for additional information.
