Self-Watering Planter (for carnivorous plants)
thingiverse
It's an automatic watering planter for my carnivorous plants. The hole diameter is 52mm on Planter v1 and 53.5mm on Planter v2 - the only difference between the two versions. The depth of the planter is 55mm, with a 12mm indicator from the bottom. To adjust the water level, place pucks in the pot to raise it. The "Dionée" file is a rim that can be attached to the pot, ensuring the plants' jaws are straight. One thing to note: the hole diameters on both models aren't perfectly round. On Planter v1, the hole measures 52mm; on Planter v2, it's 53.5mm. For carnivorous plants like sarracénias and dioneas, use demineralized water only. Water these plants every three days - ideally, don't let the pot soak in water. Instead, raise the planter and attach a string so that the roots aren't directly in contact with the water, preventing rot. Enjoy!
