Self Watering Planter
thingiverse
I was concerned that my succulent plant might not get enough - or too much - water, so I created this self-watering planter. After just one week, I'm already seeing noticeable results. Its leaves are noticeably harder and stronger, and new leaves are beginning to sprout. This design will function without any supports, but the top section requires them in order for the holes to be effective. Sanding is highly recommended. Here's how it works: The top part has holes at the bottom where you can thread a string or rope through, then place the plant and soil inside the dish. Add water to the dish, and the plant will draw up what it needs as required, just like a straw.
