Self-Watering Plant Pot with Water Indicator Designed for standard plant pots or PET bottles with a 90mm diameter. The inner pot should not be submerged in water; instead, use a wick for efficient irrigation. A simple design makes it easy to print and clean the self-watering system. No integrated spacer is required, making cleaning a breeze. The maximum water level is between 40-50 mm. Dark colors help prevent algae formation, ensuring your plant stays healthy. To prevent drowning, use a 10cm nylon cord or similar wick with the plant. Different spacers can be used for varying pot heights to accommodate different plants. Print the indicator in a hollow design so it can float freely. Thomas' Golden Rules for Printing Watertight: Print at least three outer layers (more is better). Add at least three layers of soil (more is even better). Increase the filament temperature by 5 degrees Celsius. Reduce print speed by 20-50%. Boost the flow rate by at least 10%. Ensure a minimum of three wall thicknesses in the slicer - always, everywhere. In areas without water, you can skip these adjustments.
