For pots with an about 8.5 to 9 millimeter bottom diameter, my basil was in such a pot as I bought it in the supermarket. Beside the printed coaster itself, you need a strap of cotton as a wick, for example from torn clothes. Push the cotton strap inside the planter from below, leaving some centimeters hanging outside. I used tweezers to push it through the holes of my Anycubic i3 mega printer. The first time I watered it from above, then only into the reservoir. I also planned to add a water level indicator but then got lazy. Feel free to remix one! My coaster was printed with PLA using a 0.4 millimeter nozzle. The first print was with a 0.4 mm line width and 0.2 mm layer height. But increasing the line width to 0.65mm and the layer height to 0.3mm really sped up the print without a big impact on the print quality. I also increased the flow to 105% and disabled the part cooling fan to ensure it's really waterproof, although the 0.4 mm version with 100% flow and part cooling seems to be waterproof too.
