I made a simple self-threading cap that replaces a cap for a jar, holding it together. Then I realized it could be great for any exposed threaded screws, so just scale it up to the right size and twist it on. As usual, I've uploaded both 123D files and an STL file. I find that 123D files are easier and faster to work with when adding or subtracting objects.
