An electrochlorination unit is normally used for production of sodium hypochlorite at offshore platform. Since the by-product of hydrogen gas is commonly vented, it can be used for generating energy that the ECU process required by using a hydrogen fuel cell. The self-sustaining system can be achieved through this closed loop process. (More details please refer to design description as attached)
