A preliminary design has been added to address oversized packages by including a processing unit. This unit is for personal use and features tag reading capabilities for couriers. Users input their information, and a sliding door opens to insert the package. The system measures size and weight, rejecting it if requirements aren't met. Upon approval, a drawer is assigned, payment made, and the package is inserted. After several iterations and learning, an updated model features sheet metal steel parts for low cost and flexibility. The sliding door now opens vertically to save space. A scale and laser sensors are included. To prevent jamming, a top plate has been added. Accuride slides with electronic locks operate drawers, while a DC electromagnet pusher assists in the kick-out option.
