Introducing a self-powered bicycle lighting system! This project utilizes magnetic induction to generate electricity without friction, making it more reliable than a traditional dynamo. The system is made from recycled components, including an old TV wire coil, diode, capacitor, and LED lights salvaged from a discarded CRT TV and ceiling light. The simple bridge rectifier converts the alternating current generated by the coil into continuous current for powering the LED lights. This system can also be used to charge mobile phones or action cameras with modifications. The measures are taken from a MOMA Bike, but custom dimensions can be provided upon request. Printing accessories require an infill between 30% and 60%, depending on their functionality. Neodymium magnets (N52 grade) are the only uncommon component needed, available at low cost from AliExpress. The project requires enameled copper wire, a capacitor, diodes, screws, big LEDs for rear lights, and connection wires for front lights.
