Sculpted by Otto Gutfreund, H gained fame in the 1910s for his bold cubist sculptures. Serving in World War I, he later shifted towards a more realistic style in his work. His notable creations include numerous small ceramic figures with vibrant colors as well as intricate architectural decorations. This object is part of the groundbreaking "Scan The World" project.
