Self Latching Rugged Box - Standard

<p>I found that the original box had a tendency to break over time, various parts have been modified.</p><p>This project includes version 5 & 6.<br>You should print depending on the style you like.</p><ol><li>The front section has had its latching mechanism redesigned to utilize static friction to stay closed instead of bending each time its opened and closed.</li><li>The front section was not as robust as I needed so I added additional padding.</li><li>I found it difficult to get the two parts together so I added a small gap at the hinge section.</li></ol><p>Post-Printing<br> </p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzbnaMdwFvs"></oembed></figure><p>Remix of “Parametric Rugged Box” by thesamenametwice</p><p>https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4757317</p>
