Self Holding Pegboard Standoff

Self Holding Pegboard Standoff

thingiverse

There are many different types of pegboard standoffs, but I wanted one that could hold itself securely to the back of the board without any adhesive or hassle, so I designed this. The top section is slightly angled to make it easy to insert and twist into the rear side of your pegboard. The fit is snug because it needs to be, but with a gentle twist, they will slide in easily. You can then place the pegboard on the wall where you want it to go and mark the locations where you need holes or anchors. Remove the pegboard and install your anchors, then put the board back and screw it into place. It's that simple. This design is specifically made for standard US/Canadian pegboards with 1/4 inch holes...so make sure to measure and test one out first before committing to a full build plate of these. I printed mine in PLA with three walls and 20 percent infill, and they are incredibly strong.
