All contact surfaces should be clean(please grind all that surfaces in order to get nice fittings) Ball joint should be printed horizontally in order to overcome the shear stress(if you print it vertical layers will be separated after a time). I have used 28mm(1.1" diameter elastic but 25mm(1") will be better. No need to generate support for grippers, print them separately. Front cover(minimum support area=1mm^2 for the clips), adjustable stick and ball joint must be printed with supports. Note: Fixed flat PLA spring removed from the design, elastic deformation was good but fails after a time. Simple elastic better and cheaper.
