Self-closing gate lock
thingiverse
For optimal rigidity, print the components with three outlines, a layer height of 0.2mm, at least three top and bottom layers, and 25% honeycomb/3D-honeycomb infill. You will also require: - A nail with a diameter of 1mm, from which you should cut a piece measuring 7.5mm. This connects the inner bolt to the smaller latch. - A short spring extracted from a pen that moves the smaller latch. - A long spring extracted from a pen that operates the larger locking latch. This spring must be stretched so it retains tension when retracted. - Four countersunk screws, M3 x 12mm in size, which hold the upper and lower parts together. - Teflon grease for lubricating the moving components. If you need this item for the opposite direction, simply mirror the upper and lower parts in your slicer.
