I crafted this bust of myself using a Kinect v2 and Windows 10 3D scan, carefully capturing every detail. Next, I imported it into 3D Builder and transformed it into a hollow model with a sturdy 3mm wall thickness. The AnyCubic i3-S printer handled the job beautifully, bringing my vision to life in its first-ever attempt at such a complex project. Although learning the intricacies of 3D scanning has proven more challenging than I anticipated, YouTube tutorials notwithstanding, I'm making steady progress and refining my skills. And yes, as it turns out, the 3D scan indeed made me look slightly better than reality – who knew?
